Hmmm. Good question. I have to say I'm more drawn to understated colours, I have a low threshold for bright or garish ones. Darkside was close for me, maybe I'll have another look at it now (and maybe a couple of the others) and see what jumps out at me as something I might change if I could... let me get back to you on this, and I'll see if I can come up with a wishlist...

a color i really like is the acua bluish/green that is on the cover of the x1 producer box.i really do like that color alot..its almost like the color of my avatar.

you are the best man.seriously..now i can show all my friends..one of good friends has cubebase.and he wants to get x1 just because of your mods..he keeps telling me.."we dont have anyone doing that for us on cubease..i said yes..we are lucky to have panu.

Tell this to Cakewalk Marketing, too! :-) Making mods has been superb fun but it has also taken quite a bit of my valuable free time. Luckily I can make mods now faster than ever, thanks to background work I have done during the past months. -Panu

i really hope this leads to a fulltime job with cakewalk..you deserve it for all youve done for us..but not only just because of what youve done for us..but your good at what you do.your an artist in music and with these mods and it shows very nicely.i hope they recognize this and let you do some designing for their following products in years to come.because i think you have some real skill.

Fulltime job..? Well... You should know that I have a recording studio here in Helsinki and I love my job! I can do work with great musicians, produce bands, chat bs to talkback... and in free time I play in bands, do my own music...and make mods to make SONAR look better for my eyes (and your, too). This is a dream work that does not feel like work. It's more like a lifestyle. I'm still interested if anyone from CW asks if I could do something for them. I calculated that I have used SONAR for 15000 hours during the past years. That's probably more than average! EDIT: This was post #800! INCREDIBLE THREAD!

15000 hours..my god panu.thats is more than i could ever imagine.sounds like you have a great job.and i think cake could benifit from your ideas.i like the original x1 look..but not as much as i like darkside..or yellowstone..high contrast took a little while to get used to.i did like it but when i turn my lights low in my studio it wasnt as bright as darkside which i think is one of your best.i think light house looks real cool too and i would be willing to beta test it for you if you want me to.to install the chuckechannel do i need to uninstall darkside.or can i just run the mod?so that way it will be darkside on the trackview and chuckechanel on the console?

Hey, I'm totally happy with my sonarmods.com forum! It has better forum software and together with Ben's SONAR Plus forum it's like 'One stop mod shop' as Ben described it. Post count does not matter. What matters is that I can make something useful that I can share for the SONAR community. People have been kind when I have been asking for help and mods are my gift for all you helpful souls. I started to make them because I was frustrated of certain things in the GUI. Now 31 mods later I can only laugh for the first Green Mod...

panu i love your forum..i go on it almost everyday just to checkout whats going on with it.very nice set up.and prffesional looking too.i think it was a good idea you made it incase something happen here. which i think cakewalk has been awesome.they havent said a word about this.i think you probably actually think its cool..i bet some of the bakers have actually looked at it and have got ideas.and most definetly like your work and think this is what the users want.

Hey Panup, you know what would be reeeeallly cool? :) No? ..I’ll tell you then! It would be really cool if you could make a user friendly software to “skin” Sonar with. So anyone can make their own mod. And then you can put a “skin” section on you website where people can upload and publish their own skins. :) And maybe have a button in that program to apply the skins as well? (I’m sorry if this already has been discussed here.. I just didn’t have the time right now to read all 800+ posts) ;P EDIT: Haha! Just visited your site and saw that you already had this in mind! ;) Looking forward to SONAR Skin Editor 1.0! AWSOME work Panup! :)

I'm curious. How does this work? The console and the Pro Channel are not seperate dll's, are they? When you install Lighthouse Console and ChuckeChannel, do you overwrite settings in the darksided TTSRES900.dll ?
