All the items in C3 that are yellow have updates for them. Those are the ones you click on to update. This includes Sonar. Its entry is yellow and will need to be updated. You want all items to be green.

where can we get the full list of bug fixes ? in the pdf we have a link to the blog that was the original platnum report ...

All the way down - 2nd last page of the PDF has the 25 bug fixes that are in this update...

thks ..... missed it ....  not that big list versus what it used to be  (less bug or less fixes ?))
No word on colors missing ,FX bin contrast, anybody knows if double click to load icons works as it used now , or they kept the new way ...

For somebody that don't care about the IR goodies but more abot how TO MANAGE users ones , and all new Anderton preset and other new goodies, i don't find it to exiting ....but for a guyz that need those new contents  :  kudos to bakers ..... great works since we have to take off the namm time !

In person i'm just waiting for a Rock solid , bug free , deeply optimised DAW ....  playing a loop click free n Platnum on my last projects would be , that alone cool !! (again those playing well same settings in X1 , audio and midi, otpitimsed project without hundred of spar clips ...)

Yeah I got the colour coding, just wasn't clear too me the contents of the header, if it was the entire contents of what it was er 'heading' or just the core program itself. It appears to be the latter. Even when down loading you have no idea of size, just perecentage, meaning you don't know if a small file is downloading slowly, or a big one is downloading fast.

Wanting them all to be green was what I was trying to avoid.

It is a bit confusing. But the yellow light at the Sonar Platinum entry is what you click to update Sonar Platinum core program.

Those were only the fixes from the past 30 days. Noel's blog post includes the ones that happened between X3 and SONAR 2015.

For somebody that don't care about the IR goodies but more abot how TO MANAGE users ones

Yes, that .RIR file format is awkward because you can't get "inside it." What I have to do when auditioning impulses is to rename it, audition the files (which creates a new rir file), note which ones I want to keep, switch back to the original rir file, and load the ones I want to use. That seems pretty...uh..."convoluted" to me. But I don't know what Cakewalk can do about it, that product is from Overloud so they would have to do the modifications.

In person i'm just waiting for a Rock solid , bug free , deeply optimised DAW ....  playing a loop click free in Platinum on my last projects would be , that alone cool !!

I've also noticed  some loops that don't click in the loop construction window click when they're in Track View. I think I've taken care of all the details (making sure Snap isn't set to zero crossings, zooming in to veify the loop markers are exactly aligned with the clip beginning and end) but still, some loops click and some don't and I don't know why.

However, I have a project where the loop is perfect in the LC window but not in Track View, and will send it to Noel for analysis. Maybe the next update will have a fix

It is a bit confusing. But the yellow light at the Sonar Platinum entry is what you click to update Sonar Platinum core program.

When I first used the Command Centre a few weeks ago, I thought 'Yeah, that was easy enough, doesn't seem so bad'. But today it just didn't feel as though I knew what the outcomes were or how I could stop it if I made a wrong step. When these things wrong, they can be a right ball ache.

Pause/Stop button would make me feel more comfortable, along with some data sizes of a download, and a fuller detailed description rather than a marketing plug (fuller description could follow the plug)

Re: New SONAR "Braintree" Release - Missing Content... - SOLVED 2015/02/28 10:53:11 (permalink)
Platinum user, Windows 8.1 PC; I've done all the Braintree updates -
But can't seem to locate the Hardgroove Base Loop Library OR the Hardgroove Steinberger expansion pack for Rapture.
And yes, I tried the F5 refresh in Rapture browser...

Even though I already had Rapture and Dimension Pro installed, I ran all the CCC updates so try to get my installation "in sync". All the other updates seem to be working fine.

Any idea which of the updates actually installs this particular content, and the default location where the files are installed?
(My Cakewalk content folders are on a separate drive, but right now I have Rapture installed in it's default folder structure on the C: drive)
******************
UPDATE -
That content is part of the Anderton Collection, which I had overlooked & actually hadn't installed yet .
All is good now!!

Thks Craig .....for the detailed answer (as usual)    ..yep for the IR i plan on renaiming with the correct prefixe to organise them my way , the big question is how to remove previous ones ? deleting the SQL based file ?  i request to the dev from Cakewalk would be appreciated ....cause this tools is usefull in the PC ....

Another question if you don't mind is the FX bin in the PC ....why when we save PC presets , fx on the FXbin are not saved ? i planned on putting VCC and some tools as default or in a preset but it doesn't save FX bin plugin , just the FX bin presence and place in the PC chain ...

Any infos on the colors schemes missing or inconsitancies fixes ETA ?

thks

"Braintree" is just a name to identify the release. The individual elements for Braintree are in the installers. For example if you download my stuff, you'll get the new Acoustic Piezo amp and VoxTools FX chain.

I just got my DSL back so now I'm going to download the updates...I think for my first test, I'll just play dumb, download everything, and see what happens (and how long it takes).

Okay, that helped. If I hover over the tab in Chrome or Opera I can see it. I'm pretty sure that's referring to when the releases start happening, but it would be easy to assume "coming next" meant February.

I'm having that same crash with the error code 0xc000007b on startup others are having after installing Braintree; since I won't be at my computer until tomorrow, I'm just posting so I can lurk this thread and one other easier in order to see if the problem gets resolved for the others today. If not, would the proper step be to call customer support for help tomorrow?

Also when I ran Sonar Platinum update in Command Center I expected to install / update all of its subcomponents but all of the new stuff was not installed.  Maybe because I had installed the Studio Instruments update...

Edit:
Just a note that I was able to install the updates individually.

If the CCC says Allston update does this need to be done before Braintree? And why isn't Braintree showing as well?

As an aside, I read elsewhere CW are naming the releases after towns - Braintree is REALLY the name of a town?

Follow up question please...I am about to install a new hard drive as the old one has failed, so when I re-download Sonar Platinum to re-install in full, will I still get access to these updates (Allston and Braintree) or do they disappear after a certain time?
Or, are previous updates added into future updates...some software at say version 4, also includes versions 1,2 and 3 in the version 4 as well...
