I have since moved out of this house, but definitely one of my favorite photos of my workspace...gotta love the blue-ness of it all:

Reply to no-one in particular.........

LOL, nice pics everyone, but I really think you guys should do what this thread is really intended for and put up pictures of your penises on penisbucket.com and then we can see who the "ONE KING" truly is (that way, maybe I can compete too)

HaHa, just messin' with y'all

Do I win anything for being this sad

No, but you should get a best effort/most thoughtful solution to a problem award. I'm not sure your Lego monitor stands do anything, but it was definitely creative!

What speaker are you using in this pic?

I've been thinking about trying this for a while. Just need to find something appropriate.

Here's mine. I'll admit it's still in development...

Do you think I need any bass traps? Maybe some early reflection panels?

It's a junky woofer from a garage-sale reject stereo speaker. Turns out it really doesn't matter much. Any 5-8" reasonably compliant woofer will get you the result. By itself it sounds horrible and useless, but it gives you a free very deep bottom end that you can mix in without touching an eq. And there's a 50-50 chance you'll have to flip the phase to match your real mic.

Speaker : free
3 Bungie cords: $1.25
Inline Pad: $25
Wire, xlr jack, solder: $1.00
free low end: priceless

I like the gear with the blue and white sweater playing the single cutaway acoustic guitar. Where did you get that?

That would be a 1991 Avonlea Montague. I found it on craigslist.

LOL, I dont think he was referring to the guitar

edit; nevermind, I get it now.

This is a old picture of my studio, I have a bunch of new gear, I will try to post a updated picture.

Man! Nice little cozy setup. Just right for making love to your music! One thing though. Hope those plants are artificial. Makes ME nervous with the thought of water that close to my stuff!
