Sorry. I don't know why I was having such a hard time posting pictures today. I am not the sharpest tack in the box but Photobucket usually works great for me. Thanks to everyone for the help. I'll see if I can clean it up. Do you guys see a "Preview" button on the post message screen ? I only have one showing up in the edit message window today.

It's not the best in the world, it's definitely not the biggest, but it could well be the smallest.......

It measures 2 m x 1.2 m and I can still play all my instruments while in there, the vocal booth is the next door bathroom though, is that cheating?

The white bits at the edge of the photo's are the door frame (I took the door off - it took too much space )

Anyone boast a smaller one?

It's impressive that you can change patches with your feet that high up.

LOL..... I thought that was what MIDI was for... however operating the wah/wah or pedal bend gets interesting.........

Seriously I have to move it to the floor for wah/wah etc., but that involves moving the drum stool, which involves moving the kick drum pedal, which involves.... you get the idea...

Hey Pianodano,

That's a pretty nice setup! What's weird for me is that as impressive as your setup is, the thing that made me go "Hey, Cool!" was the left handed guitars in the last pictures!

How do you guys attach picture images ?????????????

you press the "image" button in the message menue which results in this: [image][/image]
then you insert an public accsessibel adress between the two brackets [image]HERE[/image]where you have uploaded the file (like photobucket or your own ftp server)

be sure to write it down with http://www. fully spelled (not only www) cos it wont be accepted otherwise - also the file name is case-sensitive and you need to alway have the file extension (.jpg or whatever)

and now show us your studio!!!

Lol. I was wondering if anybody would catch the left handed stuff. Really, I think there are more lefties than we realize sometimes.

I admit, my little space is tight, but comfy and snug.

I hope you're right. Now I feel like a "poseur" for having my Avatar picture taken "right" handed!

I was holding a right handed guitar so I thought it made more aesthetic sense!

Almost the smallest here, I'd imagine 1.86m x 1.8m:

Since that pic was taken a while back I have added a BCR2000 where the MG10/2 is and the MG10/2 has now been put where the red phone is and the indoor TV aerial has been replaced with a coax to the aerial on the roof.

Edit: also my MOTU MTPAV is not in that rack but is now.

That's massive, that's a floor space of 3.348 sq. m compared to my postage stamp 2.4 sq. m.

Top tip, when you start running out of space buy shelving and start going up, and take the door off....

RE: Pictures of your Studio 2008/12/17 12:10:47 (permalink)
I finally got around to putting together some pics for you guys of my minimalist set-up and the rest of the junk. We also have a lot of speakers, mixing boards, CDs, etc for the DJ part of the business in another room, but it's such a mess I wouldn't even bother with it.

Pic one is my daily working area. I'm a full-time designer so I bounce between the mac and the pc.
Pic two is mine and my brother's gear in another room. The red Framus guitar is my absolute favorite rock guitar. That thing has some serious meaty grunge to it through the Vox. I found it at an estate sale.

oh, it's a Fender Twin Deluxe Reverb 65 Reissue under the Silvertone UK cover in pic one. That's my baby. And the 12 string is a German made Hoyer I got in Hamburg. It has an unreal sound. If I could find another I would snap it up in a second.

Some of your guys' studios are incredible and mostly you have a lot of gear!! WOW. There's some though I know I couldn't work in. I'm a bit of an organized cleanish freak and I'd be in trouble if I tried to bounce around in some of your studios. Never invite me over because I'd end up knocking everything around! hahahaha

It really is nice to see some of the gear you guys have and hopefully no one hates my clean desk. I can't work with anything more than that on my desk. :)

I noticed the LH guitars, but I'm right handed. My son's left handed though, so I had to buy him his own guitar, which is good because it keeps his grubby little fingers off mine! Your 16 track, 1" tape machine took me back to my prime. Does it still run on steam or have you converted it to electric?
