Pictures of your Studio
I love to see studio pics! I've seen a few threads here and there with people posting pics but I didn't see a dedicated thread for posting studio pics so I thought I'd start one. I'll start with my humble and modest set-up. Please guys....post, post, post so I can drool, drool, drool!! [image] [/image] [image] [/image] [image] [/image]

Upright, Nice pictures. Where's your bass guitar? I have two basses and three guitars and I'm a bass player. Some thoughts on your setup: They say you're supposed to angle your monitors toward you, not facing stratight out. Your tweeters are supposed to be at ear level. Also, you (in your mix position) and your speakers should form an equal traingle. Can't tell if the last two items are true but based upon your pics, the first item is not true. HTH.

Hey Bapu, Yeah my monitors are at ear level but I haven't experimented with angling them towards me.....I have to give it a try. PS: one of these days I'll add a bass guitar....I do want one.

Upright that might be the cleanest studio I've seen in awhile, good job! how is your deadening in there, I don't see much room sound? I don't see any foam or sound deadening.

This is my current little project setup at home. i use an Axiom61 sitting to the left of it. The laptop is about to be replaced by a desktop machine and an additional display. I've also raised my speakers since then... and they will also be replaced soon too This is my newest computer at the moment. Runs Reason and the like really well. I love having it on top of my Axiom and sit in the middle of my living room, running it off battery power and listen through headphones on the internal soundcard that I refuse to mention the name of

no, I meant.......explain!!! what sound is coming out of the speaker? the input from the mic picking up the kick? isn't that going to be a feedback loop? no, I meant......explain!!! I'm not scared to admit when I don't know something as that's how we all learn. It's ok to not know some things (that's advice for some people on the forum....subtle advice....ok now I blew the subtle part! hahahaha) no, I meant explain!!! lol :)
