Not because you can't spell, that's a minor issue that everyone is guilty of on occasion. It is more that you want to go to such lengths to justify it as wanting to pick a physical fight over the internet (which i am still waiting for the PM...) and getting your back up because you don't want to admit you're wrong. Know that I actually thought you were a decent person and noticed that a lot of the time you posted worthwile posts but you really have shown some outstanding traits here man, honestly.

At age 19, i have 2 languages under my belt and enough in a few others to get by. I know that i am not perfect in any of them, even English but when i get mistakes pointed out to me, in any of them, i take it on board and learn from it. I do not threaten to kick the hell out of them which, thankfully, i take with a grain of salt and see it for the empty threat that it is...

Others might not. Please be aware of this.

ESPECIALLY those that do not have an ocean between you and them.

It seems that many simply don't "buy" the story..why won't they go and open the wav files with either Notepad or anything that shows the metadata there..it's all there.

the "stealth_ae" dude in the page above just don't get it and still calls it a "stupid claim" .. not looking into the wav files and call everyone stupid is just soooooo...

C:\WINDOWS\Help\Tours\WindowsMediaPlayer\Audio\Wav it's all still there.. 9 wav files with that deepzone "signature" at the end of the files.

funny, MS could create a Windows Update patch to "fix" the wav files there..or even get away with hiding such a patch inside a different (documented) patch

BTW, it's not "watermarking"..it's simply added information which is called metadata.. wav files and many other media files have that dedicated room for all those extra bytes.
Some editors write into those fields..some add some info by default based on the initial installation..it's funny how people are not aware of this..someone said it- you can catch them every time ;)

I found the original topic interesting and one that, regardless of how many times it's been around the net, I never read.

I don't care if CJ wrote it and I sure don't give a squat about his spelling nor do I thing he was trying to be malicious and "claim credit" for this outstanding piece of journalism.

I've sat thru 4 pages of this bunk and witnessed CJay try to put this to rest 4 or 5 times and Honest_Al trying to lighten everyone up.

It would be frustrating enough to struggle with spelling and double frustrating to have someone make fun of it.

I'm a dang good speller but ya' know what... I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I can play a lead that will melt your ear lobes but I sound like a Mel Bay guitar in 7 days drop out on acoustic guitar.

I can take apart a computer to the component level (and reassemble) but hook me up with Midi banks, notes, programs and I come apart at the seams.

Everyone has things they're good at... and not.

And that includes all the spelling bee champions.
