Freddie, I have confirmed that Process::Audio::Reverse works fine on mono 64 bit files. By the way, you don't need to report this again. I have already logged that bug, which can be found in the OP. Take care!

Setting doesn't get stored in PX-64 Percussion Strip? CWBRN-1844 ************************* Report: It doesn't always remember the DELAY-settings when you LOAD the project you working on. *Work around! The only thing that solve this is just move it to another-> , track--> "inser"-slot in Console-view and then <--- move it back again, to the original place, and now it works again! All settings are back as they was stored. Answer: We're not able to recreate this, can you please submit another report with a more detailed step by step recipe and/or include a project file as well? *************************************** Perhaps its just me then? =)

Missing plugs in SE 8.5 Install CWBRN-1869 Report:The Sonar 8.5 specification for new features includes the following statement: "New FX -SONAR 8.5 now includes the Project5 “Half-Rack” Tempo-Sync’d Effects, including the Alias Factor Bit Decimator, Classic Phaser, Compressor/Gate, HF Exciter, Mod Filter, Chorus/Flanger, Para-Q, StudioVerb II, and Tempo Delay." However, these plugins are all missing from the install DVD for Studio 8.5. The plugins are not mentioned as being exclusive to PE either on the web description or in the user guide.

SOLVED: Missing plugs in SE 8.5 Install CWBRN-1869 Cake just sent me a link to the missing plugs. So for any of you 8.5 Studio people I suggest you contact tech support and cite this ticket number. I don't want to give out the link as it would break the licence agreement with Cake. This makes me happy - quick response from Cake and a good result. Thank you!

That one's been found and fixed internally. A future update will have the fix. Thanks for reporting it. Incidentally, the input works but it was the MIDI echo that wasn't working because of a new test for the arp (to remove falsely echo'd notes). Of course it's hard to use it if you can't hear it.

Can anyone confirm this :- If I open an S8.3.1 project (even if it has been saved in S8.5.1) & insert Dim Pro & load a large prog (eg DSFs piano larger than 500MB) DimPro fails to load the prog (sits saying "loading xyz.wav"). Though Sonar & DimPro will respond (DimPro makes no sound), DimPro will start acting more & more weirdly & the max loadable prog size reduces (it seems). Sometimes get "Unable to write file, disk may be full" error message if Sonar autosave kicks in. If I create a new S8.5.1 project DimPro will happily load large progs (737MB is the largest I checked) & behave itself. original thread http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=1835790 XP SP3 32bit, 4GB memory Process explorer says approx 1.6GB free memory with Sonar project loaded. Dim Pro is latest version

Keith, any information about when there will be an update? Can we assume that this one will be free to 8.5 customers? In general, 8.5.1 seems to be a good step forward, but it's greatly impaired by a whole series of niggly infelicities (that's French for bugs). Would be nice to have them swept away, so we can all get on with the creative processes.

BUG: Sometimes audio crackel open projects with 32bit plugins with SONAR 8.5.1 64bit? I use the 64bit audio-engine ON! CWBRN-1879 Happens example with the Kore Free Player (32bit) as a insert FX. When you open the plugin first time it work all just fine, but later when close SONAR and open the project again, then audio in SONAR crackle? Why? I don't know? How to fix this? 1. In SONAR got to ---> Options 2. "Audio" Options 3. just hit --> "Apply"-button? and then ---> "OK" ******************************************************* Now SONAR and the project doesn't crackle anymore? Regards Freddie

CWBRN-1842 Project 5 PTN files support arpeggiator automation. A PTN file containing arpeggiator automation placed in a Sonar midi track with arpeggiator enabled does not modify the arpeggiator's parameters when played. The attached PTN file when played in P5 modifies the Arpeggiators parameters in Sonar 8.5.1 it doesn't. Response: Thank-you for submitting your problem report, you are receiving this message because the status of your report has been changed to AS INTENDED. With the following notes: Thank-you for the report. Differences in architecture between Project5 and SONAR dictated the lack of automation support for PTN files. A feature request has been put in on your behalf for this change. Thanks.

Hey guys, I think I found two bugs: - A saved Instrument Track Template will sound dimmer than inserting the same synth directly from either the Synth rack, or Insert Menu.
- Also, dragging the mouse pointer (as if you were to lasso a bunch of MIDI notes) all the way to the sides (left or right, doesn't matter) causes drawing issues in the Piano Roll View.
Can anyone confirm these? Thanks!
