Great news! I'll definitely be renewing. As a long time Cakewalk user, I have to say this has been a great year for Sonar. I was a little skeptical at first with the new sales model, but it has turned out great. I look forward to updates and fixes each month. It's been a year of kept promises and fair prices. Couldn't be better.

Yes. That is an excellent price for SPlat. Heck, I may actually be able afford this go 'round. Even still, it looks like $149 is the new "normal" price which is great too because last year they were saying it was going to be $200. I do hope that TH3 is coming sooner (or Soonar... lulz) rather than later. I really want to much around with the new UI.

Wow.... What a @#$% list! Aside from some really useful functionality, the "UI themes" item really stood out to me. Particularly since some of the screen captures (track flyout and new library) look like they may be using one. Nice.

You know, when Cakewalk went to Gibson I flirted with another DAW for awhile because I was concerned about stability at Cakewalk. Well, I was wrong. I ended up signing up for the sub and have been nothing but happy with what I've seen so far, especially the under the hood enhancements. Re-upping is a no-brainer for me, I feel like my money is going to a strong and committed development team. Well done Cakewalk. Now about that arranger thread I started over in the suggested features forum ;-)

Solid stuff. Don't forget the discounts on renewals on JRRShop :D Oh, and FWIW, I have NOT been a loyal customer. I've gone from fanboy, to scathing hater, and spanned everything in between. And all in all, 2015 was an unusually solid year, from where I sit. So definitely looking forward to continued progress in stability and user experience.

WOW. Wasn't expecting this!! Great news--go pat yourselves on the back. And the Cakewalk community should give ITSELF a big pat on the back for not just supporting what Cakewalk is doing, but participating actively in SONAR's development. I've never seen a company with so many consultants, let alone ones who cared so much about the product This is looking very good. NAMM's gonna be fun!!

Some exciting stuff, for sure, but I was looking for a deep Matrix overhaul as a primary reason to renew (thankfully, I'm still covered for updates until this summer, though). Really hoping we see a Matrix related announcement before it is my time to make a renewal decision. Otherwise, my money will have to go to Abelton in order to get the functionality I want. I'd rather not have two DAW's, though! The above said, I certainly don't dispute the value of the pending announced updates.
Tangled roots perplex her ways. Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP, Windows 10 x64, i7 5820k, Asrock X99 OC Formula, 16 GB Corsair DDR4, Asus STRIX GTX 970, SSD's for OS and samples, Akai MPK61, and myriad VST's.
