Important questions!!!!
I can only afford purchases after getting my yearly tax refund. The last check was used in February to renew my Platinum membership. I will not have more money until February 2017! So...
- Do I have lifetime updates? - Will I be given lifetime updates if not? - Will lifetime updates be available for purchase again after August 31st 2016 for any reason? I have been using Cakewalk / Sonar since Version 5.0 and would hate to think that I can't get in on this.

I paid an embarrassingly low price for my lifetime update and I'm very pleased with it, tungsten theme is a great improvement. The only issue I have is the very slow loading of rapture pro. I guess it must be the size. As a suggestion command centre should have an option to store downloaded program files, I have a slow connection and if my system went down it would take days to restore it using command centre. By the old system I could store programs and restore in hours. Good job CW. there are some concerns however that by including OSX the time required to resolve issues would increase as the attention given would be halved by having two platforms to consider.

Yes, if you log in you will see that we are only charging you the difference in price from $199 and what you paid earlier this year. We sent out emails to folks like you a couple of weeks ago. So because you renewed, you would pay $99. Just log in to the store and you will see your price.

I like it! ... BUT ... I own Professional. It is up-to-date renewal-wise (expires Feb 2017.) When I click on "Buy Now" it puts Platinum (with Lifetime Updates) in my cart for a price of $525 NOT $299! Before the announcement it was the $299 (regular subscription version.) So... you guys might want to look into that!

By the old system I could store programs and restore in hours. It already does, check the systems settings for CCC to see where the files are downloaded. I also delete old downloads as they take up space and are no longer necessary. This is also handy if your studio computer doesn't connect to the internet...you can download the installers on a different computer, transfer them to your studio computer, and install from there.

Hello guys and congratulations for your Mac Version. By the way, i've got a question. Right now, i own a SONAR Steam Edition, and i REALLY want that lifetime updates, but you said that i must be platinum SONAR user, so... 1. Can i get any discount for owning the Steam SONAR edition? 2. If i buy the platinum update (directly from STEAM) would i get the lifetime updates? Thank you!

What the @#$%^ I waited all night and part of the afternoon for this?? * I have a Mac with Sonar already on it, it's call installing Windows using Boot Camp. * I and not going to spend 8 hundred plus dollars on the Softube plus control thingy, I have a MCU the allows me to control most all plugins from within Sonar Platinum. (My Main DAW) * I just want a FREE Cakewalk Coffee Mug and I'll be happy!!!! Here is a question from the Softube site: "So I can't use other developer's plug-ins within the Console 1 system?" Answer:"Not currently. We'll see what happens." I won't waste time using console 1. and it's software for a total of $1,947. Includes licenses for VST, VST3, Audio Units and AAX Native. Only available from authorized Softube dealers. $849 Includes licenses for VST, VST3, Audio Units, RTAS, AAX Native and AAX DSP. I hope the offer for Lifetime will remain active till Aug 31st. I had a bad experience regarding the offer of $99 which was changed from March31st to Jan/Feb (I forgot the date). Sonar4Mac will certainly put a competition to other DAW Updates if include more VSTi for real instruments would be better. Lifetime Update - just unbelievable. [But depends on how much will be included within SONAR and how much will be add-on separately with payment] Regards Snehankur

Long story short,I started recording in 2007 with a us-25 interface and cakewalk, used it up till last year when my pc broke. My wife gave me a mac and I have been unable to use sonar since, which has been so tough,I own every daw almost and none does it for me like sonar. I just want to say thank you SOOOOOOO much, honestly from my heart I appreciate this so much. PS.I like PC when it worked and i like mac OS ok too,the important thing is sonar:)

Hmm ... I upgraded from Professional to Platinum in March 2016, but haven't gotten an email about a special upgrade. Come to think of it, there was a bit of a kerfuffle in that upgrade, where I was sent emails about upgrading from Artist, instead of from Professional, so I think there might be a glitch in the matrix ... I mean, the database. Should I check in with customer service? Or am I just outta luck? Edited to add: Aha! The special deal is for people who upgraded last year, and renewed this year. That's not me. Bummer.

Yes, OS X installers would be included for Lifetime Update. We don't sell stuff based on what OS you are running. Just understand SONAR Mac is in Alpha. That's the early stage.

Here's a question about Lifetime Updates that I don't remember seeing addressed... Say I do upgrade to Lifetime SPLAT... then Overloud releases TH4. Last month we got the "basic upgrade" from TH2 to TH3 as part of the rolling update. Will this kind of thing continue to happen for stuff we already own the "basic" versions of if we are on Lifetime? I'm mostly wondering about Addictive Drums since that is what I use most. Synth instruments I don't really care about at this time but I know others would.
