Mesh I was thinking the same thing........ Although I haven't gone through the 10 pages on this post, this seems to be a success to most/all that have used it and the bakers would be missing out if they didn't see this..... When X1b comes out, will all these modifications get wiped out....AND is there a way to save/use these modification after installing X1B? Or should we just forget X1b and go with Panup? LOL Don't be worried - mods will be converted for X1b soon after it has been released. Bakers have definitely noticed this thread. Could they admit they're using mods? No! It's been a hectic week as I have worked like crazy to improve my mods. Now Reindeer development is ready for a short break. By the way, did anyone notice Control Bar Narrow Performance Section's CPU model?

...wicked I'm (un)surprised that none of the Bakers have chimed in on this thread. Probably because it is in their best interest not to have users modifying the DLL files! I am sure if someone has a problem with X1 and goes to support, one of the questions now included will be "are you using a modified DLL?" because before they can help anyone, they need to make sure they are working with the intended program. The fact that this thread has not been taken offline makes me believe they don't mind the changes at all, but I'm not sure they want to come out and fully support it. They seem willing enough to just "leave it be". Just a thought!

Panup, thanks for your work ! I DL'd Reindeer 1.30 English x86 and the color scheme is great ! But, I think I've found a small bug on the CV's surround 6-segment strips. I get no reaction unless the signal is around -10db (guessing) and then I see some activity starting way up the scale, and in BLUE (WOW! blue segments !!). Just checked back with the standard dll and it works fine there (and in green). Is this a bug or is it my video card etc. ? Thx. I'm off to London tomorrow morning so I won't be able to check out any changes you make - back on 10th March, so no hurry. Edit: Same "bug" is reflected in the Track Inspector when that surround track is selected.

SONARtist Panup, thanks for your work ! and in BLUE (WOW! blue segments !!). J I know the bitmap! I tagged it with inverted colors when searching Console View stuff. I didn't check Surround mix. Look for version Reindeer 1.31, it will fix the fader. Available in few hours.

If Panu can do this modifications so quickly & efficiently, why do the Bakers take so long with their "bug fix updates"? (sorry Panu, I'm happy to see you've taken a pro-active role in helping everyone (I might just upgrade due to this), but had some questions unanswered.

Panup is swapping a few colors and images, he isn't debugging the software. There is a big difference. What Panup is doing is great, but don't confuse it with debugging or writing software. If it were this simple, we'd all be building our own Daws from scratch.
