I made a special Yellowstone Mod 1.51 English x64 for small display resolution build.
This solves problem preferences not fitting in the screen.

Available immediately.

Wow, that was really fast.  I use 1920 x 1080 and your 1.51 works great.

Thank you very much, Panu.

I am happy to announce that Yellowstone 1.52 is now available for download. English, German and Italian languages are supported.

This mod has special new feature: some bitmaps have different sizes than the original. Check Control Bar / Snap To Grid and you see this:

Console View with open ProChannel:

Notice
- ProChannel Routing section. Icons replaced with clear texts. Much easier to undertand, in my opinion.
- HPF and LPF replaced with icons. Simplier looking now.
- Gain and Pan background is white. More contrast and easier to read.
- Updated Pre/Post button. Pre is now standard Sonar X1 grey. Post is yellow.

There are dozens of other minor changes but I forgot them already.
I am particularly proud of this update and I hope you like it too!

Hey, Panu!

Love the white strips below the Pan and Gain knobs.  Makes it much easier to read. Don't change that.  Also, the gray Pre button is easier to read.

I like that the Stereo Interleave is that goldenrod color.  It helps me to see what tracks are in a non-normal state for me.  I try to use mono tracks in most cases.  This lets me know if I've missed one.

I'm about to nominate you for a honorary membership in the grumpy old geezer's club.

<EDIT: Any clues as to why the lighter colored band is happening when Icons are in play?  You had it matching the other blue in the earlier Yellowstone version.>

One very small problem Panup. In the Track inspector for MIDI the text for Key+ and Time+ are light blue on a white background. Not very easy to read. This is when both the track and MIDI controls are displayed. This is for Yellowstone 1.52.

I'm still trying to find that image! That was not yet categorized in a table . I have 431 PNG and 969 BMP files extracted from the DLL and finding the right file will take some time. Apologies and thanks for your patience...

Yes.  Black would be fine, IMHO.  I really appreciate the black text on light gray to white backgrounds on the other controls and widgets.

I checked that. You're right.
I thought that light blue color can be customized but I could not find it in Preferences/Colors.

One moment, I make 1.53.

We need to get more text color customization options to Preferences/Colors.
Fill Feature Requests...

I tried to search for the hard-coded color codes from Sonar EXE file  but they are still hiding from me.  Hex Editing Sonar EXE is hardcode customization ;-).

I think Gain text foreground color can be customized in Preferences/Colors.

Nice work.

I have to say I much prefer the grey dropdown widgets in the TV from Yellowstone 1.00, however.

The blue-on-blue on a selected track is a little too much.

panup, first, thank you so much for all that you have done. You and Ben have made my X1 experience so much better. I hate to even ask you about this because you've done so much, but it looks like you can shoot these things out rather quickly...so I figured I'd give it a shot.

I really love my dark charcoal console view in Sonar. Would it be possible to do something like this with greenish/blue buttons like I have here?

I tried your black console look, but it was a bit too dark for me. I'm about to try your latest one now...but was just hoping that maybe at some point, you may be able to do one that is darker, yet not as dark as the black one you did and maybe have the pro channel slightly lighter in charcoal color so that it sticks out a bit within the console? I'm not expecting this or anything, I just figured I'd ask in the event it may be something easy to do for the future. Thanks for all you do, I've enjoyed all your work so far and really appreciate that you have done all this for us. :)

LOL I worked so hard on that stupid color scheme, John. Probably way more than I should have. You know....I think I realized why I dig that darker charcoal thing just this minute. All my hardware consoles (with the exception of an old Tascam 20x8) have all been the exact color of my Sonar color scheme! I never put it together until just now. LOL!

Anyway, yeah, I'd definitely love something like that if panup can do it. I felt so horrible even bringing it up after what the guy has done for us...but I didn't see a middle of the road dark type theme in his work and felt it may not be a bad idea to at least bring it up. :)

Dark Side Of Sonar
preview:

EDIT:
(image removed - darkside is available)

I made all 40 Console View background images from scratch as layered images. 6 hours non-stop work after recording 8 hours... Insane but fun enough!

Dark Side of Sonar will be available in 1-2 days.
