EDIT: Never mind. I remembered that I temporary was using these channels for an EZDrummer test. They are synth output tracks.
DS101 missing some widgets. See photo.
Mod Bod, Liking the written track icons. Are your track icons available for download on your site, Ben's site, or Panup's site....or no site? gp <edit> i guess they would be easy enough to make with MS Paint.

Important Dark Side Console View hint There is one color that must be checked in Sonar preferences in order to see Pan and Gain values properly when using Dark Side. Needed color is opposite to what was OK for the previous mods, especially Yellowstone 1.5 and thus this thing should be checked! - Open Preferences / Customization / Colors.
- Open Color Category dropdown list
- Select Console View
- Find Control Text and Values.
- Select 'Use specific color'.
- Press 'Choose color' button
- Enter numbers 226, 226, 226 in Red, Green and Blue textboxes.
- Restart Sonar.

Well yes. Panup has a great track record here and I trust him. Besides what he is doing is not going to interfere with the functioning of Sonar X1. It is purely cosmetic. Plus if you are smart you will have a backup of the original dll in a safe place. So there is very little at risk. It also helps in the wait for X1b.

Now there is a preview image at the download page, too. All other is cosmetic but English x64 Big version changes dialog windows and some context menus, too. Read previous 500 posts for more info... Yes, I know, full documentation would not hurt anybody.

panup your amazing man..someone says something and your on it(its done)..i cant wait to try these out..i love yellowstone.its really hot..this is my favorite thread of all time.everyone pulling together testing it out.these other forums have to be jelous thinking they wish they had what we have in this forum..this thread has been awesome.all the photos are great.

Yeah. I've installed every version and after the first couple I just hit the go button and check the new idea out. It's so easy to go back to the original or any other version I don't sweat it.

Hello folks, I can not do any new major mods for a while - making darkside at nights after long recording sessions caused me remarkable sleep debit and now I have to take the next days easier. I feel sorry for everyone who got used to download new goodies every other day .

I was kidding but at the same time I did mean it, too. Serious: I'm on/off guy and if I start doing something I can't stop until I have to. Kidding: Before going to bed I make myself a Zzz Mod. No... I go to bed but start developing Sonar Remote Control with my Nokia N900 phone. -Panu

Ah, very nice. Now I can see what all the buzz is about.
One thing I still hate about X1 is the flat, cartoony saturated color look. Hate it. It's like a step backward in design IMO. But that's no reflection on panup's work.
Panup, you did a great job. Thanks for the previews. When I fire up X1 again later in March I'll definitely try them out. Right now I'm sticking with 8.53 so I can get some work done.

i got it installed this evening but i experienced a weird bug and then a crash, and then i uninstalled it. i created a kick drum track, converted 4 midi beats to a grooveclip. no sound on the grooveclip. then by mistake i drug the grooveclip up into the audio track of the synth folder and then the clip made sound. then it stopped, then i moved it back down to the midi track and it would stop making sound, etc and then i got a fatal error. i like the look of it though

I just checked and don't seem to have this problem. (32 bit here) However - I recall have my scroll lock up on me a week or two back. For some reason the song was playing fine, but the cursor wasn't going anywhere. I just closed Sonar and opened it again and it worked fine. Since it never happened again - I forgot about it until you mentioned it now. Have you tried restarting Sonar? Have you tried going back to the original DLL to see what happens there? EDIT: I'm liking the Darkside here as well. The more I work with it, the more I notice the shadowing all over the place. Unless that my eyes after a Friday night out - LOL!

Ol Pal I am not seeing any problems with the mods what so ever.
I am not sure why a color change would have an effect on the scrolling anyway.
Running X1 64 bit on Vista.

Help file says: [Track view] Options > Click Behavior > Left Click Locks Scroll
Enabling this option prevents the Clips pane from scrolling horizontally during playback while you edit data. This allows you to focus on the edit location without worrying that the screen will eventually scroll away from the edit location. When you are done with the edit and want the Clips pane to scroll again during playback, click in the background of the Clips pane to clear auto scroll lock.
And:
Auto scroll lock in Clips pane
While editing, you can prevent the Clips pane from scrolling horizontally during playback. This allows you to focus on the edit location without worrying that the screen will eventually scroll away from the edit location.
When the Left Click Locks Scroll option is enabled (default behavior), the Clips pane will not scroll if you click any object in the Clips pane. When you are done with the edit and want the Clips pane to scroll again during playback, click in the background of the Clips pane to clear auto scroll lock.
To enable/disable auto scroll lock
Click the Track view Options menu, point to Click Behavior and choose Left Click Locks Scroll on the submenu. I hope this helps. -Panu
