panup mudgel I really like Yellowstone but I want the rounded fader knobs so after I run the Yellowstone patch I run the Reindeer patch. Does one patch overwrite another or does it add to the previous one where the elements are different. They overwrite each other. Some mods are cumulative, others overwrite original elements, too, depending how I made them (no special plan so far...). I try to make you a special rounded knob mod for Yellowstone. Hang on... panu i got to say the thing im impressed with most is when someone asks if something is possible ..you just make it..i really like these mods..

Hi Panup, I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit as Admin. I downloaded the "darkside" and moved it inside the X1 folder. I copied the original TTSRES90.dll file & saved it. When I double click on "darkside", I get this error: Cannot create file "C:Program Files\Cakewalk\Sonar X1\Producer\TTSRES901.dll". Access is denied (while writing TTSRES90.dll...) Please advise....

You're not running SONAR at the same time are you? You won't be able to update TTSRES90.dll is SONAR is open. Also, you say you're running as Admin, but then you say you double click on Darkside. Try right mouse clicking on Darkside and selecting 'Run as administrator' from the popup menu. HTH

Hi Benstat, Thanks for the tip. Right clicking and "Run as Admin" worked!! Very Cool!!! When I check my Control Panel>User Accounts, it shows that I'm running as Administrator. Shouldn't all applications recognize this (under this profile)? Just wondering why I had to manually do this?? Appreciate the tip!! :)

Hey, Panup - You know what would be cool? A lot of us have SFZ+, even more now because Cakewalk made that multi-timbral version of the SFZ Player free. Think you could cook up something for that? RB

panup SFZ+ is under construction. First version comes in 22 hours. You are just too cool, Panup - It's great that you're already running with the idea of doing something with the SFZ+ interface. I saw the jpg of your first test before you deleted it here - Since it was my humble request, hope you don't mind some feedback?-- I think it'd be in keeping with how SFZ+ is a powerful player that can have a million personalities, if the interface could somehow reflect that. Maybe an image background instead of a color. Trickier to pull off since visibility of the controls shouldn't be obscured, but it seems like some kind of swirly or otherwise variegated image of some sort could be tried?--- RB

chuckebaby the thing i want to know is when i make a copy of the dll.do i leave the orignal in there and copy over it? and put the copy in a safe place right?..yes very soon i will do this..thank you again panu. Mods need the original dll. Just make a copy of ttsres90.dll and keep it safe. Leave original ttsres90.dll there. Patchers make automatic backup copy, too, (named TTSRES90 Backup.DLL). It's very easy and I'm sure you can't go wrong! Patcher refuses to make changes if there's anything wrong. -Panu

I think it's funny this thread started as 'I like X1' with just a little side note of my GUI tweaks. Somebody adviced me to make music, not mods. Well, I took the both paths ;-).

Hi Panup, Just wondering if in your journeys you've come across any way to edit the meters? I'd really like to be able to adjust the where the red section starts (ideally I'd like it to start at -12, but if it's adjustable there's no reaon not to have some options (like the main K standard levels). If there could be an orange section between green and red that would be awesome! (and if you could reverse enginer it in to 8.5.3 that would be even better ;-)) cheers Child

Or goto options meter options and change them all. The options will be the ones in the TV and CV.

I was wondering what the origins of that (obvious) duck foot shaped space craft was. I also was wondering what transportation method you prefer when traveling intergalactically? Do you fold the space time continuum and travel using time as a destination? Or do you prefer the more standard velocity based travel method? I'm partial to folding time as it allows for such vast travel in short bursts of thought. One bit of warning. Do NOT try the new space time continuum beta drivers though - they were released way too early and need a lot of work. I don't know WHAT they were thinking. And the colors? Sheesh. See you 'out there.'
