Hey, how about that everyone was able to air their stuff and no one got hurt. I'd say that was a result. Well done everyone, keep up the good work.

I can't sleep and is said I could do this all night. No one is fighting because we are all pissing ourselves laughing My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all. I think this is an apt one to finish this thread on. You know something we might have all learned something There is room on the great ship Cake for us all and that includes all the johns hmm sounds dodgy but yes all the johns and there are the three of you hmm sounds like the three wise men were is my frank incense and Myrrh. We all have our place on this ship called Cake except none of us are The Capt Damm. I do like to think of myself as Master Bates though. Neb will return one day but until I do dry your eyes I will have no tears! Nebtacula

back to the original thread, isnt guessing half the part of problem solving. im not talking about leading someone on a wild goose chase but alot of us are giving our time to answer questions for users who are somewhat either confused or new to using sonar,i sugget rather than what the op is asking.if your an experinced user and your afraid of being lead astray, simply add to your thread title(serious inquiries)i think some people in this forum are talking the help thats given way to serious and are deathly afraid of mis information.dont blaime someone else for advise given by people you barely know.life is to short to be kept awake at night worrying someone is giving not so correct replys in a text box...have fun,go out somewhere, enjoy yourself..remember this forum is for everyone, its not one or two or three peoples, its everyone and even the ones we dont like so much...those are the ones that create the character and dna or the best forum in the world..this one.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire and with no animosity I have to agree with my CH cohorts. John never posts in the CH unless he wants to spread his bile and try to shove his ideals on others. After careful study, I think I have it figured out why. His poop dropping visitations seem to coincide whenever he has a serious encounter up here with someone from the CH . A territorial thing? I think he's punishing the rest of us for letting the others out. Why not just exercise the right to not read what you find objectionable? "You're reported" made me throw up in my mouth. Don't be surprised when you're in the fight that you picked. The one thing I do agree with John is the new folks he commended with the inclusion of so many others. The great majority of the genuine wisdom that is posted here. Many of those posters have been spotted engaging in Tom-Foolery in the CH Sorry for the negative vibes everyone else. First time in years I'm going for the ignore button.

Getting back to the actual point of the thread - with all the important issues of exactly who pulled who's hair seemingly cleared up - I think there is something to be said for being careful about how definitively people state things. One of the problems with forums like this is that erroneous conventional wisdoms often get passed around as if they are fact.

No deprivation required, just the basic courtesy of at least attempting to be vaguely on-topic.

John T ... I think there is something to be said for being careful about how definitively people state things. You mean comments like this, "Just a quick reminder that this is NOT INTERESTING to most forum members. One of the problems with forums like this is that erroneous conventional wisdoms often get passed around as if they are fact." ? What I don't get is, if this thread is "NOT INTERESTING to most forum members", then why do you keep coming back to it? Or are you in fact interested and are just taking it upon yourself to speak for everyone else, or do you just like to cause trouble? Honestly, 99% of the problems on this forum stem from you, John, and FBB because you've taken it upon yourselves to attack anyone who says anything derogatory about Cakewalk. My inbox and email is loaded with PM's telling me how the three of you "stalk" people all the time and how they feel they can't say anything. Reality check ... the internet is really not a place where people go to say how great something is. If it was, all the other DAW forums, would be filled with them. It has become a place for people to vent their frustrations because quite frankly, the corporations who put these half baked products out don't do a good job at taking care of their customers. The CH is a rarity on the net, but we all know how some folks feel about that here, and it's really sad. The one place here where 99% of the time there is no heaviness, and it gets attacked. No wonder the world is in the shape it's in with psycho's like that out there. This thread has almost 4000 views, someone must be interested in it.
